Harpernomics

When it comes to the economy, unlike politicians, the numbers don’t lie. Harpernomics was a concise visual summary of Unifor’s report “Rhetoric and Reality: Evaluating Canada’s Economic Record Under the Harper Government” created in the hopes that it would help some Canadians cast a more informed vote.

The Conservatives incessantly spin the yarn that they have “a steady hand on the economy”. However, the numbers don’t lie and they tell a different story. In the days leading up to the latest elections, I created a concise visual summary of Unifor’s report Rhetoric and Reality: Evaluating Canada’s Economic Record Under the Harper Government.
In less than 20 hours harpernomics.com helped untangle the ecomomic yarn for over 2k individual voters and garnered kudos from Jim Stanford himself (the economist that coauthored the original report).
